The Swoon is home.

My Swoon has arrived at its new home. 

Jepp just as I have imagined it :-) 

We are enjoying some realy nice and warm summer days here at the cabin by the sea. 

Mostly I am reading a good book, sitting in the shadow, taking a bath in the sea or riding my bike to the nearest grocery shop. Nope no sewing at all ! 

A Swoon Finish !

Another happy dance quilt.. I did it!
The quilt is quilted by Quiltén in Arendal. Anne did an amazing job on the quilting. Thank you so much!
The fabrics are mostly bought at Kreativ in Kristiansand..
The background are Kona Snow.

My last Swoon block

Here is my last Swoon block. 

Thank you so much to Linda who was so kind to give some of her beige fabric. 

I was short of this fabric because I did a mistake when I was cutting. 

Linda saved my last block from ending up in the bin.

Swoon blocks # 3 , 4 and 5.

Here are my new Swoon block´s. I just got the hang of making these blocks and my goal are to use fabrics that I already have.. Ehe I might have to buy some dark blue fabrics though because the fabric I have are not the right blue.

Her er mine 3 nye Swoon blokker. Nå begynner jeg faktisk å få litt flyt når jeg syr og jeg trenger ikke sjekke mønsteret hele tiden. Jeg prøvde å sy 2 blokker på en gang men det ble bare noe surr.
Jeg prøver så godt jeg kan å bruke stoffer fra lageret mitt men mørke blått er mangelvare.
Til helga er det Norsk Quilteforbunds Årsmøte i Kristiansand/ Sørlandsparken. Det gleder jeg meg veldig til!
Jeg skal bo på hotellet i 2 netter, så jeg håper å se noen av dere bloggere der :-)

My very first Swoon block :-)

Here is my very first Swoon block.. Designer Camille Roskelley.
Swoon has been on my plan for a while and I have prepared myself by watching Camille Roskelley Craftsy class for Swoon.
You can find the link to her classes here. I thought that I also bought here pattern for Swoon when I purchased her class but it turned not so. I bought the PDF pattern at Fatquarter shop and if you have a account at Fatquarter shop then you can download the pattern unlimited, very convenient :-)
I am so into blue and cold beige for the moment it almost scares me. I might brighten up this Swoon quilt by putting in some soft pink and rose fabric. What do you think ?
How many block have I planed to make, ehh I do not know. I am just enjoying myself.

For the first time in over 2 month´s we have had some sunshine today. Yeah…
I had a lovely walk in the " Baneheia" with my sweet friend Linda. Thank you Linda for being patient with me :-)

Block # 8 and 9 for the Designer Mystery quilt is done too.
I am now waiting for block # 10to arrive, yohoooo I have catched up !
