Christmas Quilt

Just wanted to show you my mothers great stitching again, is not beautiful. She made it last winther and now she is making a similar one. She is so patient somthing I do not have at all ;-)I have done the small jobb of framing this little quilt. Thank you Ranveig for your excellent advice for choosing fabrics.
I am not sure of the designer of this quilt because my mother has the pattern but I think it is Rosalie Quinland, please correct me if I am wrong...!
I have also posted some pictures from our walk last saturday at the cabin. Crisp, clear and cold weather. My husband wants snow soon so he can start cross country skiing. I guess he will have to wait 4-6 weeks for that to happen.

Jeg ville bare vise dere min mors fantastiske brodering, er det ikke nyderlig. Hun brukte forrige vinter til å brodere det. Hun er bare så tolmodig, det har hverfall ikke jeg arva ;-)) Jeg har tatt den lille jobben med å sette ramme på dette lille nyderlige bildet. Tusen takk Ranveig for gode råd om hvilke stoffer jeg skulle bruke.
Mønsteret ligger hos mamma så jeg er ikke helt sikker men jeg tror dette er Rosalie Quinland design. Hvis dette er feil gi meg beskjed.
Nedenfor har jeg også lagt ut 2 bilder fra en fantastisk tur vi hadde på lørdag på Bortelid. Klar, kald flott høst/vinterdag. Min mann ønsker seg snø så han kan gå på ski, men jeg regner med at han må vente 4-6 uker på det.

I have started a new project, 6 new place mates, but I don't think they will be ready for christmas :-((

Jeg ville så frykterlig gjerne ha nye kuverbrikker til jul, men disse blir neppe ferdig :-((




My mother is a great knitter and made me this lovely family.

Min mor er kjempeflink til å strikke og har laget denne koselige nissefamilien.

My mother made these x- stitching for my two daughters and I am lucky to display for the time beeing.

Min mor har laget disse to bildene til jentene mine og foreløpig kan jeg ta dem fram til jul.



This couple is garding my christmas cards.

Disse skjønne snømennene tar vare på julekortene våre.






My Christmas crib, it has a door and it does not åpen before christmas eve at five o'clock just before we have our christmasdinner.

Julekrybba vår, den har dører og de åpnes ikke før kl 5 julekvelden.
