I have made myself some new place mates for Christmas. The panels that I have used are very cute :-)

4+4 new place mates with Fragile and Luster

Made these 8 place mates. 4 for me with Fragile fabric and 4 for my daughter Marit with Luster fabric...
Both collections are from Zen Chic design for Moda.
These place mates are my own design and very easy to make.

I bought a panel from Desiree Lappeteknikk and made some new place mate for our cabin.
The boarder fabric are Luster by Zen Chic for Moda.

My new place mates using Thrue Blue by Zen Chic for Moda. 

It was supposed to be a bag but I had to go for plan B when I cut my to be bag  very wrong. Well I was happy that I could find something to make out of my misery.

Under are som pictures taken the third day of Christmas at the cabin. This moment only lasted for about 30 minutes or so but it was amazing with both the sun raising and the moon still in the sky.

4 new Place mates

I have made 4 new place mates using Moda/The Boat House. It is always fun to use the Lill´Twister ruler.
I have started 4 weeks of vacation today and yes I am so looking forward to take things a bit slow.

New Place mates for the cabin and they look very springlike.
The fabrics are just some leftover Charms I had in my drawer.

New place mates with half Dresden plate.

Moda Sweetwater / Road 15 made a wonderful half Dresden on my new place mates.
I know black is a bit dark as a background but I think it is perfect with these lovely charms. Yes I have used 1 charm pack 42 5X5" for these four place mates and the table runner in my last post. I still have 2 charm packs left of Road 15, hmmm what to do???

A new year is here with lot of new possibilities. I will try to continue blogging and I hope the rest of bloggland will continue too. I am now on Instagram aswell and you can find there as annemariesquilt…

New Place mates for a friend

I have made 6 new place mates for a friend at work. She loved them and she is going to use them for Christmas.
Red and white are so beautiful.. I found the pattern in a norwegian quilt magazine Myquilt 01/2012.

Jeg har laget 6 kuverbrikker på bestilling for en kollega. Hun har tenkt å bruke dem til jul og jeg tror det blir
perfekt ! Rødt og hvitt blir aldri feil.. Mønsteret er fra Myquilt nr 01/2012.
Brit som var min romkamerat Houston turen sa " du bruker mye rødt du ", hmm en liten vekker :-)

Winter is coming fast and so is Christmas!
There has been some lovely colors on the trees but now most of the leaves has gone.
Winter is next…

I have used Indigo Crossing and I have only the binding left :-)


Nyderlige farger på trærne. Bildet er tatt på min yndlingstur rundt Jaktodden i Vågsbygd.
Her får jeg alt åpent landskap, lukten av salt sjø og mye fint å se på.
Ikke lenge igjen til jul nå! Jeg holder på med et teppe fra Moda Bakeshop og dere kan finne mønsteret her.
Jeg har brukt Indigo crossing, bare lukkekanten gjenstår nå :-)

New place mates / Opam October

I have made 6 plate mates for a friend at work. They look very similar to the one a made for my daughter Tonje.
These are quick and fun to make..

Jeg har laget 6 kuverbrikker til en kollega på jobb. De er ganske like til de jeg laget til min datter Tonje.
De er raske og morsomme å sy ..

Under finner dere litt stemmning fra hytta sist helg :-) Det var helt fantastisk på fjellet med alle høstfargene nå.

Under here you find some pics from the cabin last weekend :-) It was amazing at cabin with all the typical fall colors everywhere.

New place mates

I have made some new Place mates for my youngest daughter..
Roses it is and pink !!
The fabric has been in my stash for ages and I was happy that I could use them making Tonje something nice.
And yes she loved them :-)

Blogger is confusing me.. I am trying to figure out which sizes to pick for my pictures and other stuff..
Still I do not know how to separate my pictures and put some text in the middle..

Nye kuverbrikker til min yngste datter som skal reise til Bergen snart og begynne på lærerskolen.
Roser og søtt skal det være til Tonje.
Hun ble veldig fornøyd :-)
Stoffene har jeg hatt i mine gjemmer en stund, godt å kunne bruke de til noe koselig !

Blogger forvirrer meg for tia. Får spørsmål om størrelser på bilde og om de skal midtstilles. Dette la jeg før i malen min... Jeg får opp HTML koder tror jeg og jeg finner ikke ut hvor det ene bildet slutter og det andre begynner, puh !!!
Noen tips ?? Hvordan fjerner jeg koden og får opp bilder istede ??

Sørlandssommeren er bare helt fantastisk og jeg er glad det er kommet varme lenger nord også.Kos dere !!
