Gøteborg 2009

Just a lovely sculpture we found on our first day at Gothenburg. I travelled with my friend Ingrid from my local quilt guild. She is a wonderful lady and we had some great days together in Gothenburg/ Sweden. Thank you Ingrid..

My life has been very busy lately and I have not have any time to visit you all, I will try to catch up soon.
Monday this week I was visiting Bergen and "Festspillende" and I went to a classic concert togehter with my Husband. Very nice and different from everything else I am used to do.
Today I will catch up with my quilting friends and we will sew, talk and laugh!!!

Ingrid and I found a great restaurant nearby our hotel and we had a very special dinner with lots of lovely redwin. ( No fastfood)



We found this beautiful bag at Quiltegården. Is it not adorable, Ingrid bought the pattern and she is planning to make it.



I meet a bloggfriend Nina in Norway. Thanks Nina for meeting you, you are so full of energy and always smiling..
I realy hope I will catch up with you later on sometime.

Jeg kommer til å ha denne veska med meg...

I dag skal jeg hjem og pakke kofferten til Nordisk quiltetreff i Gøteborg.
Gjett om jeg gleder meg.
Jeg reiser sammen Ingrid C fra quilteklubben+ 2 andre fra klubben. Jeg har aldri vært på noe så stort quilte arrangement så dette blir utrolig spennede. Jeg har ikke meldt meg på noen kurs for jeg vil bare gå rundt å se og lære.
Noen andre der ute som skal bortover?

Tusen takk for alle koselige kommentarer angående kjøp av ny symaskin. Dere har virkelig hjulpet meg masse. Alt koker vel ned til at det er stort løft å kjøpe ny maskin og du er veldig avhengig av at du gjør et rett valg. Denne prosessen kommer jeg til å bruke lang tid!!

I am still without a network, sorry to all of you for me not visiting you!! I hope soon to back on track.
In Norway we have a holiday comming on Thursday and I am of to the Nordic Quilt fair in Gothenburg. I am so axcited!!!
I am going to join a quilt friend from my own quiltguild . I have never done anything like this before so who knows what happens..
Anyone else out there going??


Thank you all of you for for the help with choosing a new sewingmachine. I guess I am going take lots of time to think this over because a new machine kost a lot of money and I am in no hurry!!
