SSCS is sendt and some new place mats ..

Dette skal bli åtte spisebrikker.Puh litt av en jobb! Jeg skal ha de på hytta så jeg har stressa litt for å få dem ferdig, for vi skal jo opp i helga..
Foreløpig er kun 4 ferdig men det holder å første omgang.
Jeg har lekt litt med forskjellige pyntesømmer på maskinen istede for å quilte tradisjonelt, det var jo litt gøy.
De skal ligge på et sort patinert furubord og jeg tror det blir fint. Høstaktig blir det iallefall. God helg til alle sammen fra meg !

This is going to be 8 place mats , wel it has been a lot work! We are going up to our cottage this weekend so I have tried to finish them up. A bit stressful but I have managed to finish 4 and it will do nice to begin with.
I have used my sewing machine to make different "seams" instead of traditional quilting and I have had lots of fun.
They are made for my dinning tabel at out cottage. The tabel is almost black and I guess this autumn platemates will turn out just perfect .

My SSCS 2008 gift has left the country and I hope the new owner will like what I have made for her.
This is my very first swap and I have put a lot of thought into this. I have been visiting my swap partners blogg and it has been nice to follow her moves.. She is a lovely lady.

Barghello og noen fine stoffer...

My Barghello quilt is comming along very well and it is nice to have time to sew again. I have been trying to take thing a bit slow these weekend and it is very nice.
I realy hope you all are just fine and enjoying indoorlife with candels. I sure do!

Min Barghello quilt har fremgang og det er deilig å ha tid til å sy igjen. Denne helgen har jeg prøvd å ta det litt med ro og det er deilig.
Håper dere har det fint der ute dere også, nå er det virkelig tid for innekos og stearinlys. Sukk!




Somethings wrong, oh my I have to think! My daughter came and helped me out here. It is not easy when you late at night finds out that somthings wrong. Thank you Tonje, you are my little angel!

Finn 5 feil, uff må vist tenke litt! Min yngste datter kom meg til unnsettning. Det er ikke lett når du gjør feil sent på kvelden. Tusen takk Tonje du er min lille engel!

These fabrics are from Makeower and I love them. I am not sure what to make of them yet but maybe a lapquilt for Christmas. As you know teddies are one of my favorites so maybe i will just keep them in my stash...

Disse stoffene er fra Makeower og de er bare helt skjønne. Jeg er ikke helt sikker på hva jeg skal bruke dem til ennå men kanskje et lite sofa teppe. Men dere vet jo sikkert at jeg er helt "gal" etter bamser, så kanskje jeg bare har de og koser meg med...

What am I up to, well not much sewing but...

Tomorrow my quiltguild is opening our quilt exhibition and I have been pretty busy lately. This is very exciting and I wonder if we will have visitors comming??

Another block are finished for my mysteryquilt I have ordered from Fatquartershop. This is a lot of fun.


This is going to be a new tabelrunner for our cottage, I am going to use Barghello .
