I love waffles, have ever told you that ?? Me and my husband found 6 cloudberry walking around the cabin and we careful divided the berries between us.. I made whole grain waffles to go with the cloudberries, yummy!

Jeg elsker å lage vaffler og trenger sjelden en unnskyldning for å sette igang vaffelpressa.Nmmm.
Vi skulle på multetur på hytta, rundt Lindefjell på Bortelid for de av dere som er kjent. Vi fant kun 6 modne bær og min mann lo litt av meg for jeg hadde utstyrt med med 1 liters mål for å være forberedt.
Vi delte bærene veldig samvittighetsfullt og nøyt de med Kesam Vanilje og grove vaffler.

New place mates

I have made some new Place mates for my youngest daughter..
Roses it is and pink !!
The fabric has been in my stash for ages and I was happy that I could use them making Tonje something nice.
And yes she loved them :-)

Blogger is confusing me.. I am trying to figure out which sizes to pick for my pictures and other stuff..
Still I do not know how to separate my pictures and put some text in the middle..

Nye kuverbrikker til min yngste datter som skal reise til Bergen snart og begynne på lærerskolen.
Roser og søtt skal det være til Tonje.
Hun ble veldig fornøyd :-)
Stoffene har jeg hatt i mine gjemmer en stund, godt å kunne bruke de til noe koselig !

Blogger forvirrer meg for tia. Får spørsmål om størrelser på bilde og om de skal midtstilles. Dette la jeg før i malen min... Jeg får opp HTML koder tror jeg og jeg finner ikke ut hvor det ene bildet slutter og det andre begynner, puh !!!
Noen tips ?? Hvordan fjerner jeg koden og får opp bilder istede ??

Sørlandssommeren er bare helt fantastisk og jeg er glad det er kommet varme lenger nord også.Kos dere !!

Merry merry snowmen block # 6

My block # 6 in my " Merry merry Snowmen " project is finished.
I am slowly getting there..
I am enjoying summer and I hope you are too.

Blokk nummer 6 i mitt " Merry merry snowmen" prosjekt er ferdig.
Sakte sakte kommer jeg nærmere målet mitt om et ferdig teppe..
Jeg håper dere alle nyter sommeren der dere er og syr litt innimellom. Det gjør iallefall jeg !

Some pictures from our trip to the cabin last week.
We had wonderful summer weather though it was a bit windy at the top of the mountains.
My husband always knows were we are heading and he always put safety first. It is good for me to know that..
I can relax and just enjoy the nature.
There is not much sewing going on here right now so take care and have fun!

Some new fabrics with rose motifs. I bought them at Kreativ Quilt in Kristiansand last week.
Hmm what to do with them ?? Tabelrunner, a new quilt or a cushion .....

Opam for june

I just had to show you my new cushions in my new chairs.. Love the result !! The cushions are my Opam for june and I was happy to make a finish..

The book and cup is a gift from my youngest daughter when she returned from Australia after staying there for 3 months.
I have a feeling that she missed her mum a little bit ;-)
I am so happy that she is safe back home and she has done so many nice things in Sidney both as a student and as a tourist ! Great memories has been made and some lessons has been made like forgetting her passport in a taxi in Sydney s China town. She was very lucky getting it back again.

A new cushion

A have managed to finish a new cushion, well actually I have made 2 new cushions but I have smashed/ broken my iPhone so this is the only picture I have.
These 2 cushions are going to live in my new chairs that I have been waiting for the last month. Living 8 weeks in a our living room without any furniture is quit a challenge !! We have a small Tv room on first floor so the three of us has been crashing there for 8 weeks and we are still good friends thank you very much ;-)
The pattern is Lise at Kreativ Quilt here in Kristiansand.Easy and fun to make!
Tonje my youngest daughter has already ordered 2 cushions for herself. She is leaving for Bergen next semester to study to be teacher and we will have empty nest syndrome kicking in again.... Our oldest daughter is already studying law in Bergen so it will be a great comfort for us to know that big sis is there to look after Tonje.
Yes I know that I am more or less not present here in bloggland but you must know that I am visiting you without living a comment. My arm is still hurting and it needs to rest!

Opam May 2013

A new quilt is finished. The name is Carousel and the design is "It`s sew Emma". I found the quilt in a book called "Simply Fat Quarters".
The quilt is quilted by "Ellens Systue", she is a lady in my Quiltguild. I washed it and I put it in the dryer. I do like the vintage look and I do not think that I want to iron it at all. I guess that this is a quilt for a cold long winter night because of the dark colors.
My daughter is going to give away for a wedding gift and she is going to be the maid of honour. I do hope that the happy couple will like it !!






I did some flower shopping today. At last we have some summer temperature here in Norway and I have enjoyed gardening today! :-)
