Tabelrunner using "The Boat House"

I am sitting outside today and enjoying that summer might have hit the southern part of Norway. Let us hope it will stay for a while! We need these sunny days..
I have played with the Lil´Twister ruler using Moda/ " The Boat House" and the charms are leftover from another project I finished in May.

A new table runner and block # 5,6 and 7 of the Fatquarterhop´s mystery quilt 2014.

Scrapping yet another table runner for our cabin by the sea.I have used tiny scraps from Indigo Crossing and Lexington by Moda Minick & Simpson. I had lots of fun with scraps 2 X2,5".

I have finished Block # 5,6 and 7 from my Fatquartershop Mystery quilt 2014. Block # 8 has arrived so I have to find time to make it soon,but I will be out of business for a couple of weeks due to a small surgery in my hand. ( Carpal tunnel syndrome).It will take place tomorrow and I hope I will be fine in no time :-) Take care ...

Christmas Tablerunner

I am inspired by Moda Bakeshop and I love all their different projects but I cannot make them all though. The pattern are taken from here. I have used Moda Minicharm/ 3 Sisters Winterlude. I bought the fabrics from Quiltekunst in Kristiansand. It is a very smooth and calm range and it is perfect with frames of off white.
Today I am busy quilting a 12 year old UFO,Yohoo and at last I found out how to finish it of.I will show you later some other day. I am having fun and i hope you are too !

Do anyone know how I can find out if my blog is running full of pictures ?

A new table runner

I have made another table runner for our summer house :-) 

The fabrics are Moda / Hearty good Wishes mini charm pack.  

I bought the mini charm packs from Quiltekunst. I loved these range of fabrics.

A new table runner :-)
I have used Moda / 3 sisters / Printemps. The squares are 3x 5" and the white ones are 1,5 X3".A charm pack is perfect for this fun and easy project! Anyone wants to try?? Let me know !

I guess this will be my last winter pictures until the next winter i november.
Easter was a dream all over the southern parts of Norway with lots of sun, warm temperatures and still enough snow to enjoy cross-country skiing.

A new table runner / OPAM Finish for March

I have made a red version of this table runner. This one is a lot of fun to make.
You can find the pattern on Craftsy and it is called " One, Two charms".
I always love to play with my red and white stash!!!

OPAM february and some charm pack fun..

I have made a new table runner as a gift for a male friend. I have used dark colors to try to make a table runner to fit
his special space in the living room. I really hope he will like it :-)
The fabric are a mini charm pack I bought a long time ago.

I made the quilt top in 1 day and I loved making it. My back is acing now so there will not be any more sewing today :-)
I have used charm pack from Moda / High Street by Lily Ashbury for this quilt top. The High Street collection are so filled with promises of a lovely summer.Yes I sure hope so !

I have made another tabelrunner from this fun pattern that I made from a pattern I found on Craftsy.

Jeg har laget ennå en løper vha mønsteret jeg fant på Craftsy. Løperen er morsom å sy og mange bloggere har laget den i mange flotte forskjellige stoffer.

I have made another tabelrunner using scraps from my Indigo Crossing collection.
Indigo Crossing is by far my favorite collection and I have still some left..

Her er en ny løper hvor jeg har laget av rester etter min Indigo Crossing samling. Indigo Crossing er mine yndlings stoffer og jeg har heldigvis mer igjen.

A tabelrunner for OPAM in august.

I found this tabelrunner on a swedish lady s blogg and I loved it ! I guess it has been on several bloggs lately.
I bought the pattern on Craftsy.com. Craftsy is a new thing to me were you can also take online classes and buy patterns.
The pattern for this tabel runner is easy and fun to make. I have already got an order from a lady who want a similar tabelrunner, she asked very nicely so I guess I will make one for her. The fabric are Moda Indigo Crossing by Minick &Simpson.
This will be my Opam for August.

Jeg fant denne løperen på en svensk blogg. Jeg kan ikke huske om det var på bloggen til Evaj-Bambisyr, Dolland design eller hos Majas Paradis. Uansett dette er 3 svenske damer som alltid gir med masse inspirasjon og flotte tilbakemeldinger.
Mønsteret fant jeg på internett stedet Craftsy.com. Her finnes masse flotte mønster og det er også mulig å ta online klasser her i forskjellige teknikker.
Stoffene er Moda Indigo Crossing av Minick & Simpson og er mine yndlingstoffer for øyeblikket.
Denne løperen blir min Opam for august.

I had some guests last weekend, actually they where 15 and a little girl of 2 years.
Yes I made them dinner and dessert with cakes.. I was so happy when everything just went so well ;-)
I also tried to be a florist, can you imagine?

15 stykker på middag forrige helg, jippi det gikk kjempefint faktisk:-) Jeg serverte grillet indrefilet, Ovnsbakt kyllingfilet surret med Serrano skinke og kake og is til dessert.. Jeg var så glad da alt gikk så fint :-)
Jeg fikk også prøvd meg som blomsterdekoratør, ehe...

4 place mates and 1 tabelrunner

For Opam february I have finished 6 place mates and 1 table runner. I have still fun with my purple fabrics. These place mates are my own design and very easy to make.

I am going to renovate my kitchen and living room and my time in the sewing room is scares for the time being.
Theres is lots of stuff to go true and a lot of things that are going in the bin and some are lucky to make it to a charity shop:-)

Next weekend I will spend at the Norwegian quilt association meeting in Sarpsborg and I am so looking forward to that..
Some dear friends will also attend so I will have company. I am going to a class with Fresh Figs byJoanna Figueroa and that will be lots of fun I guess .. I have also signed up for the bloggers breakfast on saturday and I hope to see some of you there !

A cute gift and more teddies ..

This is a gift from sweet Maja/Majas Paradis in Sweden. I tok part in her "tidnings utmaning" last spring and summer.
The other day she mailed me and told me that I had wann a price in her challenge.
I am so happy for the cute teddy fabric she have sent me ;-)) Thank you so much Maria. I wonder how she new that I love teddies ;-)
I find it often fun to join challenges because it is a way to find inspiration for my quilting! Why do you join in on challenges ?
I am so curious about what all of you are doing so I just have to take a peek from time to time ..
I realy hope you are all well out there. I am trying to have fun in my sewing room and I am into my purple fabric for the time being .. So now it is only scarps left of my amazing purple fabrics . Well I guess there are new amazing fabric waiting for me out there..

1 tabelrunner, 4 place mates and my trip to Italy ..

I finished 1 tabelrunner and 4 place mates last spring but I forgot to show you, sorry.. They where a gift to best friend Brit Elin for her 50 year anniversary.
The pattern is made by Lise at Kreativ Quilt and I have bought the fabric at Lydia Quiltshop.

Jeg sydde ferdig 1 løper og 4 kuverbrikker i våres men har glemt å vise dere dem. De var min 50 års gave til min beste venninne Brit Elin til hennes 50 års dag i mai ..
Mønsteret er fra Lise på Kreativ Quilt og stoffene har jeg kjøpt på Lydia Quiltshop.
Mønsteret er enkelt og gøy å sy.
