My Dresden quilt is finished...
My Dresden quilt is finally finished and I am very proud to say that I have quilted this quilt myself ;-)) Actually this quilt was quiltet on saturday 23/7 the day after the big bomb in Oslo and the shooting at Utøya where 67 young people died. It was good to feel occupied that day and to have something to keep my mind of the big tragedy...
Norway was changed that day to something better and we stand togehter as a united people.

That is so lovely Anne Marie and a special momento. Sewing is very healing- your mind can be thinking while your hands are busy.
SvarSlettSuch a beautiful quilt. I love everything about it. And I finished my red and white nine patch quilt and posted it. Thanks for the quilt-along. It was a fun idea.
SvarSlettKjempefin quilt. Rolig og harmoniske farger!
SvarSlettBeautifully stitched, this lovely quilt is a great way to remember the togetherness created in July.

Nydelig quilt!

Your Dresden quilt is just beautiful. Mine is still in blocks yet to be finished. You have inspired me to get busy on mine again.
SvarSlettYour dresden quilt is lovely. I made one thid year if you want to check out my blog http://quiltingbycelia.blogspot.com
SvarSlettI created so many quilts but never used white colour. But after visiting your post, I got the idea of using white colours and various polka circle in background fabric, which is wonderful and looks very attractive.
