Happy easter to you all .

I have made this small quilt for a stroller using a free patter from Bunny Hills design. You can find the link here . Bunny Hills Design has used for a ever so sweet towel appliqué but I wanted to make into a cute Baby quilt.
The fabric are mostly scraps from my Tiny Town quilt and are from Moda Martinique and Moda Fresh cotton. There are still a lot scarps left so I have plenty to play with some other time.
The bunnies are so cute :-)

Last night I had Linda visiting and we had a wonderful time sewing and chatting. Linda was sewing on some Martinique fabrics too and she is making some adorable windmill blocks.
I was into a jelly roll called Sakura Park by Sentimental Studios. Pink, light blue and green it is! It is a new project I just started last weekend and it is a Joanna Figueroa design and the pattern is called Jelly Girl. Love it !

I hope you all are enjoying the easter holiday. A lot of Norwegians are up in the mountains and having the last of winter before spring hits us. But this year it looks like we are going to have winter forever so no need to rush. I guess there will still be some snow in the mountains in may or maybe june too ;-)

4 place mates and 1 tabelrunner

For Opam february I have finished 6 place mates and 1 table runner. I have still fun with my purple fabrics. These place mates are my own design and very easy to make.

I am going to renovate my kitchen and living room and my time in the sewing room is scares for the time being.
Theres is lots of stuff to go true and a lot of things that are going in the bin and some are lucky to make it to a charity shop:-)

Next weekend I will spend at the Norwegian quilt association meeting in Sarpsborg and I am so looking forward to that..
Some dear friends will also attend so I will have company. I am going to a class with Fresh Figs byJoanna Figueroa and that will be lots of fun I guess .. I have also signed up for the bloggers breakfast on saturday and I hope to see some of you there !

My Merry merry snowmen block number 3 is finished.. Hmm just 6 more to go ;-)
I am already on to block number 4 and 5 and I must say that I love making this cute blocks.

Another " All About Anna" bag,design Loftcreation.
I made one in my favorite colors and now I am a bit confused ;-) Who should I pick for myself ??
I thought that I wanted the purple one but when the red, white and black was finished today I did not know anymore.
I made this last bag slightly larger than the pattern and I am very happy with it...

"All about Anna" my way

Playing with purple gives me so much fun!Now there is only tiny scraps left :-)
Stephanie/ Loftcreation gave me this awesome pattern a while a go and I have been waiting for the perfect fabric and inspiration.
Last weekend was good for some me time in the sewing room and suddenly it was clear to me what I was going to make. Hmm where is that All about Anna pattern I got got from Stephanie ohh yes there it is !!
The fabrics are so awesome with this patter and I am very happy with my new bag.
I was thinking about giving this bag to someone dear but no this one is mine..
I have already started one in red, black and white, yes my favorite colors :-)

A well done " princess cake " for my mothers 85 years birthday..

And a little/ perfect princess cake for my daughter who is going to stay behind.
I have never made this cake before so this was a good learning!!

A cute gift and more teddies ..

This is a gift from sweet Maja/Majas Paradis in Sweden. I tok part in her "tidnings utmaning" last spring and summer.
The other day she mailed me and told me that I had wann a price in her challenge.
I am so happy for the cute teddy fabric she have sent me ;-)) Thank you so much Maria. I wonder how she new that I love teddies ;-)
I find it often fun to join challenges because it is a way to find inspiration for my quilting! Why do you join in on challenges ?
I am so curious about what all of you are doing so I just have to take a peek from time to time ..
I realy hope you are all well out there. I am trying to have fun in my sewing room and I am into my purple fabric for the time being .. So now it is only scarps left of my amazing purple fabrics . Well I guess there are new amazing fabric waiting for me out there..

We were supposed to celebrate Christmas at the cabin but the the weather did not cooperate. Because of heavy snowfall we decided to stay at home and I have spent most of the day decorating the house. My mom is here with us this Christmas and that makes the holiday special for us!

Jeg ønsker dere alle sammen en God Jul og et Godt Nyttår år. Jeg håper dere har det bra! Vi skulle egentlig feire julen på hytta men pga været som er meldt her sør i morgen og julaften fant vi ut at vi like gjerne kunne bli hjemme. Ikke nødvendig i trekke min mor på 85 år opp i et snøkaos eller at min eldste datter skulle kjøre opp på hytta etter jobb på julaften..
Jeg har derfor brukt dagen på å pynte til jul og treet kommer vel opp i kveld.

Ta vare på hverandre og kos dere i julen.
