I found this lovely pattern at Moda Bakeshop and you can find the patter here.
It is called Neighborhood Charm and the original patter is a bit smaller than mine.
I was planning to make a sofa quilt using scraps from my stash.
The designer are Debbie from Esch House Quilt. The design is very simple and I love it..
At last I can use my pink leftovers and play with my black and white fabric, my favorites .
I am planning to put a boarder on this quilt and you can see my suggestion in the picture under. Am I far out or can I use this fabric?? I might just bring it down town to my local quilt shop and have some feedback there.....

Neighborhood Charm quilt er designet av Debbie/Esch House Quilt og er veldig enkelt og flott quilt synes jeg. Jeg har tatt meg en frihet og utvide quilten litt.
Jeg har kost meg med å finne fram rester av mine rosa stoffer og i tillegg har jeg fått leke med mine yndlings stoffer i sort og hvitt.
Jeg tror at jeg vil ha en ramme rundt denne quilt´en og under i bilde under har jeg lagt et stoff som jeg fant hos Lise på Kreativ Quilt. Kan jeg bruke dette stoffet
eller?? Kanskje må jeg ta med meg quilten ned til Lise og få litt feedback fra proffen.. ..
Blogging har gått litt i sakte fart for meg en stund, men jeg har vært rundt å besøkt dere og kommentert litt her og der. Det er så mye morsomt å se der ute og det er alltid noe nytt og spennede å se !
Kan jeg bruke dette stoffet til kant rundt teppe eller ??
A kind of "big" Norwegian pancake called Svele and it contains sour milk and "natron".
( Natron is not baking soda but something similar , do you know what I meen?)

Nye utemøbler på hytta.. Neste helg er det klart for jentetur der med 8 av mine gode venner. Bålpanne er innkjøpt og jeg gleder meg til flotte turer der oppe.

I love your color choice for your neighborhood. I love ALL kinds of pancakes and those make me hungry. What a lovely cabin to escape to and enjoy time with friends and family.

SvarSlettJag gillar också bårdtyget som du valt, men då skulle jag kanta med ett mörkare tyg t.ex. mörkgrått eller svart så att man ramar in motivet!

SvarSlettBack to your quilt - I think the fabric you have chosen for the border will work very well. I like the whole pattern as well.
Your neighbourhood looks very fresh and lovely! The benches outside your cabin are a lovely place for coffee or a meal, or just sitting and enjoying the peace.

SvarSlettYour little houses on your new quilt look very nice. I like the color combination pink, black and white (for me always white :-) !). As the pattern is very geometric it even wouldn't be necessary to make a border. But the fabric you chose, is matching perfect. Moda Bakeshop has a great variety of lovely and easy pattern. I am always tempted to sew more than I finally am able to quilt.
SvarSlettIt's very comfortable to have a cabin and I'm sure you will have a lot of fun with your friends staying there. The older I get the more I enjoy to stay in our cabin (a little house in the mountains) too. The surroundings however is quite different to yours. You have a lovely place! Do you serve your "pancakes" with sugar or cream? I unfortunately didn't taste it when I was in Norway.
