Melanie's Helping hands Project

This quilt is made by Melanie / Houseelf Doings , is not an awesome quilt !! Follow the link and see Melanie story.
Look at all thoose helping hands and guess what I am the red hands , I am so happy with ending up as the red hands ;-)
Melanie told me she did wake up one night and new exactly what quilt to make: the helping hands project.. She send me the odd message to take of my hands and send them to her ..
I was stunned and without a clue, hi hi. After a while she told me to wright around my hands and sent it to her, so I did whithout any notion of what she was up to but I new she was doing something realy sweet for bloggland.
I am to meet up with Melanie in London late November and I so looking forward to it ;-))
On the picture under you can see the sweet gift se sent me. It is part of some scarf she bought at her visit to Aswan in Egypt. Hmm what am I to make of these beauties ??

  8. What a superb idea to create these helping hands. I like this quilt and the idea behind! Have a good time in London (I'll be there in the beginning of December too). Are you going to look for patchwork/quilt shops??? I only know one near Kew Gardens.
