My quilt top for the Black an white Quilt challenge is finished and I am so happy.
It is going to be a sofaquilt and I plan to send it away to be quilted. I feel a lot safer leaving the quilting to someone pro, Quilt'n Arendal. I am thinking about having fleece as backing , what do you think?

Quilte toppen til Black and White Quilt challenge er ferdig og jeg er kjempefornøyd. Jeg kommer nok til å sende det til Quilt'n i Arendal for å få det quilta. Jeg føler ikke at jeg kan quilte et så stort teppe selv. Jeg har tenkt å ha fleece på baksiden, hva synes dere?

Ja, hvis ikke den quilte toppen ble fin, så vet ikke jeg... FANTASTISK!!!! Jeg tror det blir bra med fleece bak. Jeg har et veggteppe, som egentlig skulle være et krabbeteppe, med fleece og det er deilig og mykt...

SvarSlettCan fleece be used for backing? That would be a clever idea.. you probably wouldn't even need a filler if you did that. Can't wait to find out if that works.

I am amazed at the difference the seasons makes to your cottage I remember your photos without snow. The snow is so thick. The photo of your husband made me laugh he looks like he has no head. I love your quilt you should be very proud and it looks great with the snow as a back drop.

Your quilt is lovely and the setting for the photo is perfect - very professional! I love your pictures of the area around your cottage. We looked like that a couple of weeks ago here in New Hampshire but we had what we call the "January thaw", although it didn't happen until February. Yesterday, we got 4 more inches of snow, just so we don't get used to clear roads!
