Sjekk ut bloggen her...
To my english readers. My Clubguild has a new blogg and this is just a little information . Please visit, but the writing will be in norwegian......

Bakermester Harepus/ a baking day!
Her kommer oppskriften:
1 kg hvetemel
150gr smør
75gr sukker
1tsj kardemomme
7,5 dl melk
1,5 pk gjær
Hev deigen i ca 30 min og bak ut horn evt fletteloff. Så må de heves i ca 30 min igjen. Ovnen må settes på 225 grader . Horn stekes i ca 12 min og fletteloffen i ca 15 min.
Lykke til!!
Today has been a big baking day and it is part of my preparing for my youngest daughter's confirmation next weekend. You take 4 kg of all purpose flour and some time later you will have white bread and "buns" ready.
I hope to save some of it in my freezer before my daughters comes home from school. Otherwiese I guess they will eat most of it, he he.
I will try to give you the recipe in english thought I do not know the measures in Oz sorry.
A little bit more then 2 pounds of all purpose flour.
150gr butter
75gr sugar
1 tea spoon of cardamom
7,5 dl milk
1,5 pk of yeast
Put everything dry in a big bowl and melt the butter down and the milk goes in with it , let it warm til about 39 degrees. Put everything together and let settle for about 30min.
Make the "buns" and White bread and let settle again for 30 min.
Set your own to 225 degrees .
The "buns" need about 12min in the own and the white bread about 15 min.
I hope you english speaking people will excuse my bad english writing, I did try though.Good luck!!

Tonjes quilt is finished!!!
At last I have finished Tonje's quilt. It has been a journey of 7 mounths and it has been lot of fun and my youngest daughter Tonje has been a bit impatient but now she is very happy.I have sendt it to QUILTEN in Arendal so they could help me with the quilting. They did a realy great job and I very satisfied with the outcome. ( Please see the closeup down under)
And Yes I have put a label on the quilt so everybody can see were the quilt was made and by whom...( I have a small label in black which tell my adress and city.)
Stay tuned I will soon have another finish on Marits quilt!!

Portugal
I have been 1 week on vacation in Portugal/ Algarve/ Monte Gordo togehter with my youngest daughter. We had a very nice week and was enjoying 28 degrees for a hole week and lots of sunshine every day.
Monte Gordo are a sweet little town 3 km away from the Spanish boarder. The beach goes on forever and there were lots of places to eat.
It was to hot for any exercise so a place in the sun or shaddow was great. Our hotel was Ok but there were not any luxery though. Nice staff and and the pool area was great. We did not complain!!
We had a day in Lisboa. It took about 3,5 ours drive to get there so we had to be up at 4 30. The capital was beautiful and my daughter enjoyed the shopping. I did not like those who was begging, I did find it quite uncomfortable!!
But for sure I will be back one day!
