A great gift from Suzie, Thank You!!

Look at this beautiful gift I received from Suzie this Christmas. It is an adorable stitchery with 4 small pretty jojo's. Hmm I need to find the perfect spot for it and it is going to hang all year round. ( no no not only for christmas!)And Suzie put in some chocolate too, mmm yummi!

Se dette flotte lille broderiet har jeg fått av Suzie til Jul. Det er et skjønt lite broderi med 4 små jojo'er. Nå må jeg prøve å finne et perfect sted å henge det og det skal henge framme hele tia. Snill som hun er så hadde hun sendt med noe sjokolade også, mmmmm.

My SSCS gift from Leanne

LOOK: This adorable gift came to me all the way from Leanne in Australia!!!
I am quite astonished, Leanne has made this lovely pincusion with lots of stitchery on it. I can see that she has put a lot work/ time into it and I will treasure it always..
She also sent me some lovely patterns togehter with some of her own cards and ofcourse the darling santa kenguru. This is far more than I excepected to receive when I first signed up at Chookyblue's Secret Santa Christmas Swap earlier this autumn. This has been my very first swap and I determined it will not be my last. I have had lots of joy and thank you so much to Chookyblue for hosting this Swap!!!

SE : Denne flotte gaven har kommet til meg helt fra Australia og Leanne. Jeg synes det er helt utrolig at noen jeg ikke kjenner kan lage noe så flott til meg. Nåleputa er bare helt nyderlig med masse flotte broderier på, du kan jo se lang vei at dette er mye jobb. Jeg vil alltid ta godt vare på denne for noe så flott kan jeg aldri lage selv. Hun har også sendt meg noe flotte mønstere og en veldig morsom nisse keguru... Jeg har fått masse flott ut av denne "swap'en" mye mer enn jeg forventet da jeg meldte meg på hos Chookyblue tidligere i høst. Jeg har hvertfall bestemt meg, dette blir ikke min siste Swap. Dette har vært morsomt og givende og tusen takk til Chookyblue for at hun var så snill og arrangerte SSCS Swap 2008.

I have started a new project, 6 new place mates, but I don't think they will be ready for christmas :-((

Jeg ville så frykterlig gjerne ha nye kuverbrikker til jul, men disse blir neppe ferdig :-((




My mother is a great knitter and made me this lovely family.

Min mor er kjempeflink til å strikke og har laget denne koselige nissefamilien.

My mother made these x- stitching for my two daughters and I am lucky to display for the time beeing.

Min mor har laget disse to bildene til jentene mine og foreløpig kan jeg ta dem fram til jul.



This couple is garding my christmas cards.

My Christmas crib, it has a door and it does not åpen before christmas eve at five o'clock just before we have our christmasdinner.

Julekrybba vår, den har dører og de åpnes ikke før kl 5 julekvelden.

Another Christmasgift has arrived at my door!!
It from my dear friend Suzie in Germany. This is such a suprise Suzie, I do not know what to say... I have not made anything to you Suzie, and I am very ashamed!!
But I feel very lucky to have friends like you Suzie. I have send you a card though, and I hope it will reach you before Christmas.

Parcels has arrived....

Christmas is here for sure and I have received a wonderful and very surprising parcel from my dear friend Eileen.
We had a fabric swap earlier this autumn and she gave some very special vintage fabrics .
This time she gave someting she has made herself and I will treasure it and think sweet tings about Eileen when I see them.. And she knows I love teddies, he he.

My SSCS parcel has arrived all the way from Australia/ Leanne B and I feel very
lucky and almost cannot wait to open before Christmas, But I have promised to be a good girl...

I have done some serious fabric shopping for my black and white quilt challenge. I am quite pleased with the outcome of my shopping and I hope i might find the rest in my own stock.

Jeg har handlet stoffer litt vilt til min black and white quilt utfordring. Jeg er ganske fornøyd med blandinga på stoffene men jeg håper jeg finner resten i mitt eget lager.
